Women’s Circle Training
Ts & Cs
Please ensure you meet the pre-requisites prior to booking onto the training.
Prior Experience

A passion for circle and ideally some space holding skills – as a yoga teacher, holistic practitioner, teacher, facilitator.

If facilitating groups is new to you, you are still welcome to apply - we'll arrange a time for you to have a call with Anna to discuss joining the course.

If you have never attended a circle but feel the call, you are welcome to join the course – you may like to attend a circle(s) before the course begins.

The training is a collaborative and supportive environment.
Booking
-
A deposit is required to reserve a space on the course (or full payment).

Deposits are non refundable.
-
The course fee must be settled at least 1 month before the course starts.

We reserve the right to withhold a place on the course if fees have not been paid in full 1 month before the start date.

Certification

I understand that I must complete all requirements to receive the practitioner certificate.

If you complete the training and coursework, you will receive an attendance certificate from Shala Women Training (which is accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals).

If you wish to attend the training for personal development and would rather not complete coursework, you are welcome to do so.

If you are a yoga teacher who would like to claim the 50 hours of further training with Yoga Alliance to add to your CPD, you will need to attend all sessions and complete the course work.
Cancellation Policy
-
All payments are non refundable.
-
However, in the event that you need to defer your training due to unforeseen circumstances, you are able to transfer your booking to a future course.
During the course
-
100% attendance on the course is required to receive a certificate of attendance.

In mitigating circumstances, it may be possible to make up hours by booking a private mentoring session with the course tutor (this will be charged extra at the current hourly fee).

Students are required to have read all course material and to complete course homework if they would like to receive a certificate of completion.

In the event of an unforeseen circumstances (e.g. severe illness, death of relative..) – the trainer will endeavour to find a way to enable the student to complete the course.
Cancellation of the course

The course requires a minimum of 4 students to run.

In the event that the trainer needs to cancel the course, the students will be given 1 month notice of cancellation and refunded in full.
Force majeure
-
The Training providers are not liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, acts of God, fire, flood, natural disasters, war or threat of war, acts or threats of terrorism, civil disorder, unauthorised strikes, governmental regulation or advisory, recognised health threats as determined by the World Health Organisation, the Centers for Disease Control, or local government authority or health agencies (including but not limited to the health threats of COVID-19, H1N1, or similar infectious diseases), curtailment of transportation facilities, or other similar occurrence beyond control of the Training providers, where any of those factors, circumstances, situations, or conditions or similar ones prevent, dissuade, or unreasonably delay at least 90 percent of prospective Training attendees from participating in the Training, or where any of them make it illegal, impossible, inadvisable, or commercially impracticable to hold the Training or to fully perform the terms of the training Agreement. If any of those circumstances arise, Shala Women Training will automatically transfer your enrolment to the next Training available.
Sharing of Personal Information

Please note that we do not share personal information with any 3rd party. Personal information is only used for the purpose of safe participation and successful completion of the course. E.g. with internal tutors.
Intellectual Property

The sessions that I participate in are private and confidential and participation is only permitted by the Training members who have paid tuition to participate in the Training.

I agree to honour the Training school and contents of the manual, and not set up my own Women's Circle Training using the contents of the manual.

If it is found that I shared materials designed for paying students or violated the confidentiality of fellow students I may be released from the Training, and my tuition will be forfeited. I understand that if legal action is pursued I am liable for all legal expenses associated with any claims.
Photography

Occasionally pictures may be taken during the training. I have the right to opt out of being in the picture. Please communicate this to the course tutor before the Training commences.

Confidentiality

I agree to keep all my fellow participants identities, stories and personal information strictly confidential.
Waiver of liability, consent and release agreement

I, the participant, hereby agree to the following waiver of liability, consent and release agreement, in connection with my participation and purchase of the Women’s Circle Training with Shala Women training – Anna Brook & course tutors.

I am at least 18 years of age. I am voluntarily participating in the Training and accept complete responsibility for my own medical, health, mental, emotional, psychological, spiritual and bodily wellbeing. I recognise that the training requires some physical exertion as well as relaxation practices. I warrant that I am adequately fit and of sound ability to take responsibility for my choice to participate in the Training. I understand my physical limitations and am sufficiently self aware to stop physical activity before I become ill or injured.

I understand that this Training is no substitute for therapy or psychological counselling. If I need or desire medical treatment, therapy, or psychological counselling, I will seek it from a licensed provider.

I confirm that I am well physically, psychologically, and emotionally, and commit to being responsible for my own well-being during, and after, the course of this Training.

I acknowledge that during the Training I will receive information about women’s circles, holistic practice and facilitation skills, yoga, somatics and astrology. I recognise that I am participating voluntarily in these practices and reserve my right to consent. If I do not want to practice anything in the course, it is my responsibility to communicate this to the course tutor.

My decision to participate is a personal decision. There are no guaranteed promises as to the results or benefits I may receive from this Training. I take responsibility for my ongoing focus and motivation to set up Women’s Circles after the course. I alone am responsible for my results in life so waive liability from the Training providers for my actions.

I do, on my own behalf, herby release, discharge, waive and forever relinquish the Training – Anna Brook – Shala Women Training from any and all known or unknown claims resulting from, arising out of or in any way connected to the Training.

I hereby waive all claims, demands, compensation and all actions that I or anyone associated with me currently or hereafter may have for any injuries or perceived injuries or perceived or real losses I may suffer or believe to suffer because of my participation in the Training.
I have read the entire agreement, and fully understand its terms and conditions. I acknowledge I’m purchasing this Training freely and voluntarily.
