Winter Solstice Women's Circle

Come ease into the Christmas spirit with a cosy, candlelit chance to close the year. 

Winter Solstice (or Yule) is the longest day of the year. A time where everything lies dormant in the earth and there is hibernation in nature.

The energy of winter can feel more internal… a time of rest and reflection before the slow build to brighter days as the light returns a little more each day. We’ll be moving through calming practices by candlelight – a chance to ground yourself and deeply relax before Christmas.

A chance to reflect on the direction of our own lives with intention, and build on this energy as we enter a new year. With no need to create change just yet…just a slow build of visioning into how that may be, letting the energies of new life slowly build within you and by spring the energy of ideas may burst through.

A chance to acknowledge the endings & new beginnings in your life, that both honours your past and clears space to make room for what you wish for the coming year.

Our candlelit circle will include:

 - Sharing Circles

 - A mug of Ceremonial Cacao (or Tea)

 - Yin Yoga

 - Calming Breathwork

 - Self Enquiry and Journalling

 - Yoga Nidra (Guided Relaxation)

 - Fire Ceremony

Anna Brook - Anna is the founder of Shala. Her passion for Women’s Circles comes from 12 years as a circle facilitator and Women’s Wellness Yoga Therapist. With over 800 hrs + of training with world class teachers. A  life long fascination with practices, ceremony and ritual means that Anna's circles weave together a rich tapestry of influences in a welcoming space.
